IN THE GARDEN, from the acoustic guitar/woodwinds duo of Eric Tingstad & Nancy Rumbel, features some of their most broadly appealing music ever. Thematically, the album celebrates the artistry and satisfactions of gardening while also promoting responsible stewardship of the land.

Eric and Nancy are dedicated gardeners as well as active environmentalists. Narada is donating a portion of the proceeds from the album to three important non-profit gardening organizations: the National Gardening Association, the Center for Plant Conservation, and the Seed Savers Exchange - groups with large memberships making valuable contributions to the long-term health of global vegetation and our world food supply.

IN THE GARDEN features extensive liner notes including comments from the artists as well as gardening authorities such as Paul Hawken (of Smith & Hawken0 and Michael Pollan (author of Second Nature).
