A once-in-a-lifetime collection from the hottest music stars today.  These incredible artists have come together to support His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the plight of Tibetan refugees.

All artists' royalties will be donated to the Office of the Dalai Lama via the Foundation For The Preservation Of The Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) - an organization based on the same Buddhist tradition as the Dalai Lama. Founded by Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche to help bring Tibetan Buddhism to the West, FPMT also engages in community service and has assisted Tibetan refugee communities, improving water supplies, housing, education, and providing support for elderly monks and nuns.

Enhanced CD
MANTRA MIX includes an Enhanced CD component featuring special video clips of the Dalai Lama as well as some unique interactive 'lotus' and 'mandala' portals. These can be viewed and explored at the users' leisure on their computers. Cutting edge technology has gone into the Enhanced CD to produce an ambient Tibetan environment offering another dimension to the whole album concept.  Parts of the Enhanced CD will also be featured on www.mantramix.com

The Enhanced CD production has been donated by Holotype New Media Design, Box Communications, and Phil Snow Sounds Design, multimedia companies based in Sydney, Australia.

From the Executive Producer
Mantra Mix royalties flow to the 'Office of the Dalai Lama' in order to benefit Tibetan refugees. All artists on Mantra Mix have donated 100% of their recording royalties towards this charity.

This album contributes towards improving the living conditions of Tibetan refugees as well as preserving their rich cultural traditions. There are currently over 120,000 Tibetans living in exile, with a steady flow of around 3,000 refugees arriving each year out of Tibet, most of whom end up living in poor conditions in India and Nepal. These refugees, having escaped a repressive Chinese regime which places monks and nuns in prison for simply carrying photographs of the Dalai Lama or for singing songs in praise of their exiled spiritual leader, now have to face living in crowded unsewered camps with very poor primary health care. By purchasing this CD you will be helping to improve these conditions for them.

The songs on Mantra Mix are all 'mantras' in themselves, containing some positive elements which do justice to an album in honour of the Dalai Lama. All have been carefully chosen. We hope you like our choices and can also hear a little of the 'mantras' contained within.
