English love songs, 18th century Tamil lyrics unfold over hypnotic, funky
grooves everything converges and intermingles, solidly delivering on the
promise of Susheela Ramans previous two critically-acclaimed albums. This
strikingly soulful third album marks a coming of age for Raman as a
British artist of real note, drawing on her heritage but making bold
strides in distinctly original directions.
