The artists, producers, and record companies have waived their right to earn royalties from the sale of SOS PLANET EARTH so that the funds can be allocated to several foundations working to bring relief to deprived peoples and areas in third world countries, including the Foundation Denis Guichard, Association Traditions for Tomorrow, The Centre for Cultural and Educational Development, and others.

About some of the foundations benefiting from SOS PLANET EARTH ~

Foundation Denis Guichard is a fund which gives support to nature-friendly operations that protect the environment and encourage physical and spiritual health. Specifically, a resource center is planned for northern Senegal which will focus on seed production and planting techniques, promoting safer and more equitable agricultural policies.

The Foundation for a Human Earth’s objectives are to defend the natural environment and biodiversity, eradicate poverty and exclusion. Many efforts take place in nothern Niger where the dry climate requires special knowledge and agricultural techniques to grow plants and vegetables. Local farming traditions are taught to promote self-sufficiency in harmony with the environment.

Based in London, The Gaïa Foundation, provides means by which local organizations, indigenous representatives, and political leaders can promote solutions to the problems that affect populations. The Foundation network extends across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, concentrating on protecting biological diversity as well as social justice.
